Have you ever wondered what you could make using those little cocktail umbrellas that come in fruity drinks? How about a tiny merry-go-round? This design uses plastic doves from the wedding section of the dollar store, but you could also use gumball machine toys or any other itty-bitty critters you can find. Or you could get ambitious and make your own carousel animals with polymer clay!

I absolutely LOVE this idea for making a dollhouse out of old dresser drawers. Roo over at Nice Girl Notes made this one, dressing it up with paint and decoupage. I'm especially fond of how the curved drawer fronts make an interesting roofline! It would make a fantastic first dollhouse for a little girl, or could be worked up into a more adult version as well.

Count how many wastebaskets are in your real house. I'm willing to bet that most houses have one in nearly every room. How many do you have in your dollhouse? If your answer is "not enough," then you'll be pleased to see this very quick, simple, recycled wastebasket idea. Put one in the bathroom, in the bedroom, in the living room, in the office... You get the idea!
